Clinical features and complications of enteric fever by age reported in a systematic review of the clinical profile and laboratory features of enteric fever across age groups in studies reported between 1964 and 2013. Studies with all culture-confirmed cases or those with at least 50% culture-confirmed cases were included. 1 Values are given as numbers with the feature/number assessed (percentage of cases). The numbers assessed vary between each feature depending on the numbers reported in the original reports.
