Next year, we will welcome you with the "Psychoneuroendocrinology Across the Lifespan" theme and originally planned location (The Blackstone Hotel, Chicago, IL). Exact dates for our 2021 meeting will be announced soon. Despite the pandemic, we still want to unite this year as a society and share and support our research through a shorter virtual meeting held on our originally planned dates: August 27 th to 29 th 2020. Our virtual conference will feature the theme "Psychoneuroendocrinology in the Time of COVID-19". However, submissions and content on all aspects of Psychoneuroendocrinology are welcome (they do not need to be COVID-19 related). For accessibility and solidarity, we will offer free registration for all members of ISPNE if you register by June 30, 2020. We hope you will contribute to this virtual conference with your valuable work, or just join us to listen to the science of your colleagues and engage in stimulating conversation! All accepted abstracts will be published in Psychoneuroendocrinology! The virtual conference will consist of sessions running (likely using Zoom meetings) from approximately 9 am to 2 pm US central time (CST) on August 27th through 29th 2020. Opportunities for informal virtual interaction will be offered in addition to the formal scientifi c program. Formal portions of the conference will be videorecorded for later viewing by our membership. This virtual program will feature breaking science that our membership wishes to share this year. The submission deadlines for symposia and abstracts are extended by one month to allow adjustment to the new virtual format. Please see below for updated submission guidelines and deadlines. More information can be found at: http://www.ispne.net/annual-conference/ As planned in our original program, we will still hold the Bruce McEwen Memorial Symposium virtually so as not to miss the opportunity to commemorate the loss of our esteemed colleague and a key contributor to understanding the neurobiology of stress. We will have an in-person memorial symposium in 2021 as well to honor him and his work contributing to psychoneuroendocrinology across the lifespan. The ISPNE Executive Committee has further decided to postpone the regular change in leadership to the following year. Sonia Lupien has agreed to serve as president for another year, and elections will be held in advance of the 2021 Annual Conference in Chicago. The ISPNE community is a strong one, and we look forward to connecting with you both virtually and in-person over the next two years! Abstracts should be less than 250 words with the following sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Funding sources can be acknowledged in the last sentence of the abstract. No tables or fi gures are allowed. A small group of abstracts will be selected for fl ash talks or grouped into themes for symposia. Abstracts that are not selected as oral presentations will be presented as posters. Please indicate whether a poster or oral presentation is preferred Late Registration (starting July 1) Students, ISPNE member: $25
