Dennis Looney, associate professor and chair of the department of French and Italian at the University of Pittsburgh, will deliver a lecture on “Dante in Black and White: Moments in the African-American Reception of the Divine Comedy” Oct. 8 (Thurs.) at 4:45 p.m. in Room 102 of the University of Notre Dame’s Hesburgh Library.
