Construction on the East Campus Plant has commenced and will continue through fall 2018. The plant will be located southeast of the intersection of Douglas Road and Wilson Drive.
The plant will house heat pumps that are connected to the geothermal well fields beneath Ricci Fields along with chillers and a Thermal Energy Storage Tank. The energy production from this plant is part of the University’s Comprehensive Sustainability Strategy.
