Notre Dame and Ireland: Strengthening our connection

The close connection between the University of Notre Dame and Ireland was proudly represented when the "Fighting Irish played Navy":http://news.nd.edu/news/33031-nd-in-dublin/ on the football field in Dublin in September 2012. Notre Dame's president, John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., and Enda Kenny, prime minister - or taoiseach - of Ireland, join together in encouraging Irish-Americans to carry on the spirit of collaboration to celebrate their Irish roots in a meaningful way.
