Orville Schell, dean of the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, and a leading authority on Chinese and East Asian affairs, will deliver the first O?Grady Asia Lecture. Titled “China’s Future Fates: Economic Miracle or Political Collapse?” the lecture will take place April 16 (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. in the Carey Auditorium of the Hesburgh Library at the University of Notre Dame.p. Schell will present a second lecture, titled "War, Terrorism and China’s Changing Place in the Global Picture,? at 2 p.m. April 17 (Thursday) in the auditorium of the Hesburgh Center for International Studies.
