Spectators attending the Blue-Gold spring football game Saturday (April 23) at the University of Notre Dame will find less parking south of the stadium than in the past.
Construction onEdison Roadhas eliminated parking on soccer fields on the south side of the road, and an interactive fan festival will take away some parking in the lot south of theJoyceCenter.
Fans can park on a first-come, first-served basis in the Joyce Center lot, as well as in the B2 Lot east of the Hesburgh Library (enter off of Bulla Road) and the D2 North Lot east of theStepanCenter.
Parking also will be available in the area north of the Notre Dame Credit Union and in White Field North (enter offJuniper RoadbetweenDouglas RoadandPendle Street). A shuttle will be provided to and from the parking area and the library.
The one-way traffic pattern that is in effect during the regular football season will not be used Saturday, and law enforcement officials expect traffic to be heavy.
