The Division of Student Affairs at the University of Notre Dame has been chosen to host the 2012 national conference for the Association for Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASACCU).
Scheduled for July 24 to 27, 2012, the conference will bring together student life administrators at Catholic universities from across the U.S.
The purpose of the annual ASACCU conference is to promote an understanding of the rich Catholic intellectual tradition and its relevance for student affairs professionals.
“That Notre Dame has been offered this opportunity is not only an honor, but also a chance to exemplify the hospitality, creativity and commitment to excellence that define the Congregation of Holy Cross and Student Affairs at the University of Notre Dame,” said Rev. Tom Doyle, C.S.C., vice president for student affairs. “Our participation allows us a wonderful opportunity to learn from our colleagues at other Catholic colleges and universities and to build relationships with professionals who share our ministry and have much to offer in the way of experience, leadership and wisdom.”
The 2011 ASACCU Conference will be hosted by Boston College this summer (July 26 to 29).
