C a l l for Submissions: T h e History of Education Society Prize The History of Education Society awards a prize of $750 biennially to the author of an article judged to be the most distinguished scholarly essay in educational history—broadly denned to cover a wide range of educational and cultural institutions inside and outside the United States (this includes work on schools and universities, teachers, students, and families)—published in any journal over the previous two-year period. The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2012. Submissions should be emailed (in Microsoft Word) to anelson@education. wisc.edu.
