[1] Porphyrion, prince of Ephyra as son of Sisyphus, possibly by the Pleiad Merope.[2] Thus, he is the brother of Glaucus, Ornytion, Thersander, Almus and Sinon. Porphyrion, son of Celeus and one of the Athenian sacrificial victims for the Minotaur.[3] He may be the brother of Hesione, another sacrificial victim granting that their father is only one and the same.
