This explosive increase in the prevalence of type 2 diabetes, and the consequences of its complications and associated disorders, represents the greatest health care challenge facing the world today [14] . The population of this nation are Asian Indian, Creole (Black) and Chinese, and these three ethnic groups account for over 66% Increasing prevalence of type 2 diabetes by region [12] .
