The objective of this study was to carry out a typical experiment to compare two TGEV TMK22 strains, one of which was cell culture, adapted and maintained in the laboratory for about 15 years, and the other virus was passed in animals during the same period of time. Overall, the clinical signs observed in piglets, infected with the cell culture adapted TMK22 and pTMK22 strains, were consistent with a typical TGEV infection and did not show any clinical difference in these typical experiments.
