Experimental results show that the proposed steganography algorithm of G.723.1 speech codec with an embedding rate of 3.1% and secret information transfer rate of 166 bits/s results in \ 5.7% degradations in perceptual evaluation of speech quality (PESQ) scores, which indicates a high degree of imperceptibility.
