By integrating this Calu-3 co-expression network with SIPs-derived PPI subnetwork, we generated Calu-3-specific human-SARS-CoV-2 Interactome (CSI) that contains 214 SIPs interacting with their first and second neighbors make a network of 4,123 nodes and 14,650 edges (Fig. 1c, Supplementary Data 1) . We showed that CSI follows a power law degree distribution with a few nodes harboring increased connectivity, and thus exhibits properties of a scale-free network (r 2 = 0.91; (Fig. 1d , Supplementary Data 1), similar to the previously generated other human-viral interactomes 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 .
