CONCLUSIONS: Our study demonstrated a significant increase in 30-day mortality among hip fracture patients during the first 30 days of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The objective of our study is to investigate and describe associated risk factors for 30-day mortality of patients with hip fractures in a single center for a 1-month follow-up period since "day 0" of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom.
