During the COVID-19 Catalan lockdown, the instructional time received by students from different social backgrounds has been unequal, as has the educational value of the activities developed at home in non-school time. Extant research evidence based on these experiences identifies the existence of a general loss of learning connected to school absence, which can be more or less severe depending on students' previous performance, family characteristics, age, and education pathway, among other factors. Inequalities in families' economic, social and cultural capital impacted on student learning opportunities by different means, including school responses to the lockdown, access to digital facilities and the level of parental learning support. ./cache/cord-335582-30rws724.txt ./txt/cord-335582-30rws724.txt
