To minimize the dispersion of blood and biological fluids, it is essential to always operate in the area of the autopsy table: the viscera removed from the body must be placed either on the iron section table, placed above the patient's thighs, or in a large tray with high steel edges resting on the patient's legs, during weighing, macroscopic examination and sampling of the viscera.
