His CT of the brain, CT angiogram and CT perfusion ( Fig. 1a -e) showed acute established infarct in the right frontal lobe and basal ganglia, large matched defect in the right MCA territory and occlusion of right CCA and right terminal ICA with no evidence of dissection as well as lung findings suggestive of COVID-19 pneumonia. He was transferred to medical ICU for close monitoring and his follow-up non-contrast CT of the head (Fig. 1f ) revealed large right MCA territory infarct.
