This study reports results of a survey designed to understand attitudes and knowledge regarding SARS-COV-2 virus and perceptions of preventive measures among the Georgian population, including health care workers (HCWs). We collected information on demographic data (age, gender, marital status, education, employment status), knowledge of symptoms and transmission modes of coronavirus, perceived differences between coronavirus and influenza, availability of antiviral medication and vaccination. In response to the question "Are you afraid of getting infected with SARS-COV-2?" almost half of study participants (46.3%) said "no."
