This work showcases the capability of cold-spray as a potential copper-coating solution for different in-use parts and components that can act as sources for the spread of the virus. In this work the authors have deposited copper coatings onto the stainless steel push-plates in a matter of 7 mins only, which is a marvellous demonstration of the application of the cold spray coating process for ongoing and future challenges arising from the pandemic.
