In sixteen individuals with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection samples from the vitreous and aqueous humor were taken during postmortem examinations. PCR was negative for all aqueous humor and vitreous samples for SARS-CoV-2. (Table 1) In this case series, SARS-CoV-2 could not be found in the aqueous humor and in the vitreous. In these patients, SARS-CoV-2 might be found in the aqueous humor and/or vitreous.
