Its aim is to summarize the available information and provide simple guidelines for the use of antithrombotic drugs in order to guarantee optimal care for patients infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection are at increased risk of thromboembolic events, especially VTE, which is associated with the critical situation and immobilization entailed by this disease.
