The diagnosis of MIS-C should be considered among children and adolescents aged from zero to 19 years, with characteristics of typical or atypical Kawasaki disease or shock syndrome, according to the case definition proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO) 8 , described in Chart 1. In this study, we describe a case of MIS-C in an infant infected with SARS-CoV-2, after parental authorization, which had a fatal outcome despite the support received in pediatric intensive care. This case report emphasizes the fatal clinical course of an infant admitted with infection by SARS-CoV-2, associated with significant comorbidity, presenting with hyperinflammatory and multiple organ dysfunction syndromes. ./cache/cord-321770-g5xcfhnh.txt ./txt/cord-321770-g5xcfhnh.txt
