S ubacute thyroiditis (SAT) is a self-limited inflammatory thyroid disease characterized by neck pain, general symptoms, and thyroid dysfunction (1, 2) . Here, we report the first case of SAT in a patient affected by SARS-CoV-2. SAT is a self-limited, inflammatory disorder characterized by neck pain and general symptoms, often associated with thyroid dysfunction (1, 2) .
