cord-278945-q5lzf5o4	Hashemi, Seyed Ahmad	Report of death in children with SARS‐CoV‐2 and Human metapneumovirus (hMPV) co‐infection: is hMPV the trigger?	2020-08-07		.txt	text/plain	1285	88	55	To investigate the presence of other respiratory viruses, we performed a panel of virus detection through PCR and RT‐PCR tests to detect influenza virus, parainfluenza virus, Human metapneumovirus, Human bocavirus, adenovirus, and respiratory syncytial virus on nasopharyngeal swabs of all 74 SARS‐CoV‐2 positive dead patients. Although surveys confirmed that children could be infected with SARS-CoV-2 (1-3), there is evidence showing people more than 50 years old are more susceptible to the COVID-19. Case presentation Blood tests, including blood cell differential count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were performed for all patients admitted to the hospital with suspicion of infection with SARS-CoV-2. Besides, all patients underwent a chest CT scan that is the most sensitive test for COVID-19 identification (5, 6) , and SARS-COV-2 detection was performed using real-time PCR.
