Consequently, the purpose of this study is to retrospectively investigate the incidence of AAI in patients with severe SARS-CoV-2 infection and to correlate findings to prognosis data. (a) Severe or critical lung parenchyma lesion characteristics of COVID-19, i.e., involving at least 50% of the total lung parenchyma [10] ; (b) Presence of both entire adrenal glands in the inferior part of the volume of acquisition; (c) Positive RT-PCR for SARS-CoV-2 at the time of chest CT.
