We believe that while original reviews are essential, decision making during the pandemic would benefit also from the purposeful replication of some systematic reviews of evidence relevant to COVID-19. Along with minimising production of unnecessary, duplicate reviews, we encourage the evidence synthesis community to prioritise purposeful replication of some systematic reviews of evidence relevant to COVID-19.
