[10] [11] We performed a cross-sectional study to determine by means of immunofluorescence assay (IFA) and molecular techniques the prevalence of traditional and newly described respiratory viruses and atypical bacteria in children hospitalized due to an acute asthma exacerbation in Buenos Aires, a temperate southern hemisphere city.
