The symptoms of VRTI were divided into three main categories, and the rate of positive virological results was as follows: ILI 38 % (25 out of 65), fever only 30 % (9 out of 30) and upper VRTI symptoms 22 % (15 out of 67) (Fig. 1) Six patients had pneumonia; thus, BAL was performed and four viruses were detected (co-pathogens are reported in Table 2 ): one influenza A, two RSV and one coronavirus.
