In contrast, the surgical tracheostomy for the COVID-19 patient was performed by one dedicated head and neck surgeon and ICU medical staff (two intensivists and one senior nurse), who worked only in the negative pressure room for COVID-19, and assisted with all procedures (Supplementary Figure 1) .
