The fifth edition of the program was specially designed for Hubei to establish the diagnostic criteria of "clinical diagnosis cases," which include clinical compliance with the characteristics of viral pneumonia, such as corresponding clinical symptoms and imaging CT findings, especially the multiple lobes exudative ground-glass shadow and intermittent consolidation, normal or decreased total count of white blood cells in laboratory examination, and reduced lymphocyte count.
