Similar to our case, there are case reports of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test initially false negative and later positive in the literature [11] . Therefore, it can be argued that COVID-19 pandemic control and filiation evaluation with the rRT-PCR test may produce false negative results.
