Vulnerable patients, as elderly people with cognitive impairment (CI) or dementia, have an increased risk of serious morbidity, admission to intensive care units, and death when infected with COVID-19 because of their advanced age and frequent medical comorbidities. The teleneurology may offer a cost-effective and practical method for delivering interventions to dementia patients and caregivers, especially through the COVID-19 pandemic, favoring the adoption of new ways to deliver medical care.
