Data concerning the outcome of face-to-face slit lamp examination in the eye clinic were obtained from electronic patient records, including referral reason, diabetic retinopathy grading, presence of other retinal pathology and final management plan. The two graders WL and GG who are medical retina fellows and also authors of this paper retrospectively reviewed the patients' Clarus fundus photographs and OCT scans blinded to the outcome of face-to-face (standard care) clinical examination, assessing DR grading and clarity of the fundus photographs, recording the presence of other retinal pathology and providing a management plan.	./cache/cord-305520-7gxmdo56.txt	./txt/cord-305520-7gxmdo56.txt
