To identify factors which can predict pneumonia development and progression to respiratory failure at the early course of the disease, we reviewed the electronic medical records of who were diagnosed with MERS-CoV infection and admitted at Samsung Medical Center, a 1950 tertiary care university hospital which managed the largest number of MERS-CoV infected patients as a single center during the 2015 Korean MERS outbreak.
