Thus, the interaction between SIRP-α and SHP-1 negatively regulates P38-MAP kinase signalling, and stimulates NF-κB activity, and cells become resistant to TNF-mediated effects, such as apoptosis (1) C1qRp (CD93) (C1q receptor associated with phagocytosis stimulated by C1q, MBL or SP-A): but this has subsequently been shown not to bind any of these ligands.
