However, hepatitis B and C virus infections, syphilis, HIV, malaria, and dengue were substantially more common in the international group, whereas respiratory infections with rhinovirus, para influenza virus and metapneumovirus, and hand, foot, and mouth disease were more common in travellers from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan ( figure 3) .
