The approach has yielded accurate results for states in India, and we are working on validating the model for the remaining countries so that it can serve as a reliable tool for authorities to monitor the burden on hospitals. The system pipeline includes scraping historical tweets at a granular level to obtain a corpus, processing the corpus using Natural Language Processing tools, calculating signals from the processed data, and finally evaluating the results by comparing ground reports and bulletins.
