T here has been recent controversy regarding the risk that ibuprofen (and possibly other nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs, NSAIDs) may worsen the clinical course of patients that are infected with COVID-19. It is therefore the purpose of this brief review to inform practitioners treating patients with 5-ASAs about the potential relationships between 5-ASAs and NSAIDs.
