Here, we discuss the 'knowns' and 'unknowns' of the roles that virion-incorporated cellular RBPs could play in the assembly of viral particles and the early steps of infection in the new host cell. Many ivRBPs such as annexins, heat shock family proteins (HSP), peptidylprolyl isomerase A (PPIA -also cyclophilin A), eukaryotic translation elongation factors (EEF), heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (HNRNP) or poly(rC) binding protein 1 (PCBP1), have been linked to infection in multiple ways (Fig. S2) , and here we show that they are incorporated in the particles of several viruses (Table S1B) .	./cache/cord-312332-rwmuucsp.txt	./txt/cord-312332-rwmuucsp.txt
