We have eliminated TMEV viral protein as a source of a common or cross-reacting epitope by both absorption and immunoblot analysis, but the mechanism of induction of Ab[MBP] and its role, if any, in the clinical and pathologic development of TMEV-associated demyelination remains to be determined. The incidence at 12 weeks coincides with the mean onset of clinical signs of TMEV-associated demyelination and the presence of MBP in the CSF of these animals. ./cache/cord-007593-45ynhqmf.txt ./txt/cord-007593-45ynhqmf.txt
