Few studies on SARS-CoV-1 demonstrated that there exists a relationship between infection risk and the blood types and that the blood group O was somewhat protective against the SARS-CoV-1 [5, 6] . The aim of this study is to investigate the distribution and relationship between the blood groups amongst the COVID-19 patients and their clinical outcomes at a referral university hospital.
