Despite being a very promising 110 technology able to influence neurosurgical training, several barriers still need to be defeated, such as the 111 expensiveness of the acquisition, the significant amount of space that many hospitals and programs do not 112 have for its installation and the fact that even the most modern simulators allow the performance of only a 113 few specific procedures.
