The following information was extracted from all included studies: title, year of publication, province, sample size, number of positive cases, diagnostic methods and other potential factors that may affect the prevalence of depressive symptoms in nurses and that was provided in the studies. In addition, subgroup analysis was performed based on other potential sources of heterogeneity, such as province, regions (Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, South, Central, East and North China), severity of depressive symptoms, department, gender, age, job title, marriage, education background, shift work and hospital grade (if available).	./cache/cord-316853-vaea6siv.txt	./txt/cord-316853-vaea6siv.txt
