Background We compared the efficacy of medical masks, N95 respirators (fit tested and non fit tested), in health care workers (HCWs). [16] [17] [18] The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of medical masks compared to fit-tested and non-fit-tested N95 respirators in HCWs in the prevention of disease because of influenza and other respiratory viruses.
