Here we proposed a simple, carton-made, protective shield that provides an effective reduction of transmission of droplets and aerosols during both intubation and extubation. After the A Carton-Made Protective Shield for Suspicious/Confirmed COVID-19 Intubation and Extubation During Surgery shield interrupts operation, it should be discarded and a new one prepared for extubation.
