Finally, the lab offers a fifth task that asks to predict the check-worthiness of the claims made in English political debates and speeches. Task 3 is defined as follows: Given a check-worthy claim on a specific topic and a set of text snippets extracted from potentially-relevant webpages, return a ranked list of all evidence snippets for the claim. Once we acquire annotations for Task 1, we share with participants the Web pages and text snippets from them solely for the check-worthy claims, which would enable the start of the evaluation cycle for Task 3.
