To better understand the potential biological processes associated with the effects of NLE in lung cancer A549 cells, GO analysis was performed using the online DAVID 6.8 bioinformatics resource. To clarify the mechanisms underlying the anticancer effect of NLE in A549 lung cancer cells, we further analyzed the DEGs using the CMap dataset. As shown in Fig. 4a , the mRNA levels of NRF2, p21, STAT3, and ATF4 were upregulated after NLE treatment, which was consistent with the results obtained by RNA-seq analysis. Thereafter, the inhibitory effect of NLE on de novo protein synthesis in A549 cells was further confirmed using the Click-iT assay. CMap dataset analysis supported NLE as a protein synthesis inhibitor, which was further confirmed by the Click-iT assay. ./cache/cord-012784-c74jr4ga.txt ./txt/cord-012784-c74jr4ga.txt
