Photography is a disciplined way of observation. Aligned with the eye, the camera becomes an instrument of analysis that allows us to represent the world around us. That is, to reinterpret and to revisit the usual, but with different eyes. Thus, photography is not a mere recording but the construction of a viewpoint, an interpretation of the world. To this end, analog cameras and procedures are adopted, not because of a nostalgic view but as a pursuit for higher quality. Unfortunately, a technical improvement –digital photography– has brought a decline in the aesthetics field. From this point of view I stand in an ambiguous field, between natural territories with traces of artificiality and artificial territories with natural features. I find this intermediate field more interesting, hard to define and with diffuse borders. The intent of these images is to translate this ambiguity into a visual language, built out of tones, brightness and darkness, lights and shadows.
