The Irish-American abstract artist Sean Scully has most interestingly responded to this post-historical situation. this tradition, Scully makes abstract paintings that employ the rhythms of contemporary urban life. modernist tradition, interesting art needed to find entirely new styles of visual thinking. Scully knows that making his expressive abstractions is merely one option for a post-historical artist.
